Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club
This Donald Ross classic has hosted three U.S. Women's Opens. The course was meticulously restored more toward what Ross intended for the course and offers character and comfort. You can challenge the imposing trees that protect the doglegs, but only at your own risk.

Mid Pines returned to the original 1921 Donald Ross routing in 2013 thanks to architect Kyle Franz who used arial photos as a blueprint. Having hosted many national competitions, this classic gem provides fun play with plenty of challenges.

Considered the centerpiece of Pinehurst Resort, course No. 2 remains one of the world's most revered golf courses. In 2011, the course was restored back to Donald Ross' original design using aerial photos. Ross considered the course "the fairest test of championship golf" he'd ever designed. Having hosted more single golf championships than any other course in the United States, Ross' notion has certainly proven true. Pinehurst No. 2 is best known for its complex and rolling greens.
