It originally opened as a country club in 1925 before turning public in 1963. Hawthorne Valley Golf Club
Located 18 miles from downtown Cleveland is one of the area's best kept secrets. This par 70 Donald Ross design was established in 1926, but recently turned public in 2010. It has been well-preserved and is quite a treat even for the most spoiled of golfers. Hawthorne Valley's rolling hills contour of the land and it has wooded areas and small, elevated greens. It is also among the state's top public courses.

Located 17 miles east of downtown, the elegant, once private club delivers a seemingly endless show of elevated greens and awkward lies. The classic Donald Ross design offers a variety of challenges including water hazards and two canyon holes. The name is believed to be a Native American word for maple forest, and you'll find many maples along Manakiki's tree-lined fairways.

This Pete Dye 27-hole masterpiece is located only 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland and lies on acres of scenic country in Chesterland. Part of the land was originally a dairy farm and the original barn still stands on the south side of the parking lot. Even the name of the course is steeped in history, coming from the original settler and gristmill owner, Milo Fowler. Since the course first opened and after major renovation of the clubhouse, you will still find the signature railroad ties, wooden bridges and split fairways that make this course unique.
